We've secured a room block at the Old Edwards Inn and 200 Main for wedding guests. Please see the lodging page for additional options in Highlands.

Transportation will not be provided to the ceremony, which is located in downtown Highlands just off Main Street. Following the ceremony, shuttles will transport guests to the reception. After the reception, shuttles will be available to the after party and back to downtown Highlands. Shuttles will also be available from the after party to accommodations that are not within walking distance.

We ask that all guests arrive by 3:30pm so everyone can be seated comfortably before the 4:00pm ceremony.

The ceremony will be inside, the cocktail hour will be outdoors, and the reception will be inside.

We ask all guests to dress in Black Tie Optional. Black Tie Optional is a formal dress code allowing guests to choose between wearing a traditional tuxedo (or formal evening gown) or a dark, conservative suit (or formal cocktail dress).

It is highly encouraged to take the shuttles. Alcohol will be provided at the event and the winding roads can be a challenge. If you decide not to utilize the shuttle service, you may park at the venue. Old Edwards Club is located at 688 Highlands Cove Drive, Cashiers, NC 28717

That said, Highlands is at the center of one of two temperate rainforests in the United States, so rain is very much a possibility!
